Aitan’s funding backs an orchestration layer for mixed autonomous drone fleets.
Aitan funding reached $41 million in a newly announced round as the defence-technology company emerged from stealth on September 2, 2026.
Deep33 and Dell Technologies Capital co-led the financing, which takes Aitan’s total equity raised to $54 million. The company is building an operating and orchestration layer for mixed fleets of military drones, with AI processing on the aircraft rather than depending entirely on remote cloud infrastructure.
Everyone else is reporting a $41 million defence-tech round; we are explaining the operating problem Aitan wants to solve. Modern forces can buy many drones, sensors and payloads, but those systems do not automatically share controls, data or mission logic. Aitan’s bet is that the valuable layer will be the software and edge-compute system that turns a collection of incompatible aircraft into a coordinated force.
Aitan funding is new, not a cumulative total
Axios, Calcalist and Israel Hayom independently reported the September 2 financing as a new $41 million round co-led by Deep33 and Dell Technologies Capital. Those reports put total equity raised at $54 million. Calcalist also named Gokul Rajaram, Bling Capital founder Ben Ling and Scribble Ventures founder Kevin Weil among investors, while Axios directly confirmed the two co-leads.
The distinction between the round and the cumulative figure is important. Earlier August coverage said the business was raising approximately $15 million under its former eyesAtop identity. The September announcement supersedes that in-progress snapshot with a larger completed financing. Aitan has not disclosed a series label, valuation, individu
