THE King is set to host an "exclusive" gathering of artificial intelligence (AI) bosses at a summit in Scotland later this month.
Politico reports that around 30 leading figures from the AI industry will attend the event in
Dumfries
House in Ayrshire, the headquarters of the monarch's charity The King's Foundation.
According to the outlet, among those to take part in the summit include Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang and Google DeepMind founder Demis Hassabis.

The Pope
has previously been outspoken against AI
, calling for the "disarming" of the technology in order to protect the "sanctity of life".

A royal official told Politico that the King would not express his own thoughts at the summit but would instead "convene, engage, listen and encourage debate".
The event is being organised by the Ditchley Foundation, with
UK Government
ministers also invited to attend.
