India added 311,000 artificial intelligence (AI)-related jobs since 2023 while globally a total of 2 million AI jobs came up during the same time, LinkedIn India Country Head Kumaresh Pattabiraman said at the Business Today India @ 100 Summit.
“Since 2023 globally there have been 2 million new jobs that are AI-related that have been added, and of those, a good 311,000 were added in India. AI engineering roles just in the last year have gone up by 51%,” Pattabiraman said during a session titled ‘Manufacturing Jobs In The AI Age.’
