HUAWEI has introduced the new MatePad Air, a 12-inch tablet designed for professionals and content creators with an OLED display, AI-powered productivity tools, and a lightweight design.
The tablet features a 12-inch 2.8K Ultra-clear OLED PaperMatte Display designed to reduce glare and reflections. It also supports a paper-like writing and touch experience, making it suitable for users working in different environments, including cafes and co-working spaces.
For productivity, the HUAWEI MatePad Air comes with PC-Level WPS Office and WPS AI. These tools can help users create and edit documents, presentations, and spreadsheets, as well as summarize PDFs and assist with writing and presentation creation.
The tablet also includes AI HUAWEI Notes, which offers speech-to-text support for multiple languages, including Filipino. Users can also use the app to organize handwritten information digitally.
For different types of work, the MatePad Air supports a 4-in-1 setup when paired with the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard and HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro. The stylus also supports gesture controls, an Air Mouse feature, and a laser pointer for presentations.
Despite its productivity features, the tablet measures just 5.3mm thin and weighs 509g. It packs a 10,100mAh battery with 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge Turbo, along with 12GB physical RAM, 8GB virtual RAM, and 256GB storage.
