will see MediaTek adopt NVIDIA’s NVLink Fusion platform, allowing customers to develop custom AI accelerators that can connect with NVIDIA-powered, rack-scale data-center systems. The move broadens NVIDIA’s AI ecosystem beyond its own processors while giving MediaTek a pathway into large-scale AI infrastructure.
NVIDIA and MediaTek Expand AI Infrastructure
Under the expanded partnership, MediaTek will work with NVIDIA’s NVLink Fusion ecosystem to help hyperscalers, cloud providers, and frontier AI developers build custom XPUs compatible with NVIDIA’s rack-scale AI factories.

NVLink Fusion is designed to provide the high-bandwidth connectivity needed to link specialized accelerators with NVIDIA systems. NVIDIA introduced the platform in 2025 as a way for industry partners to build semi-custom AI infrastructure around its interconnect technology.
The companies said the arrangement provides customers with a prevalidated route for integrating custom silicon into NVIDIA-based infrastructure, potentially reducing some of the engineering work required to connect specialized processors to large AI systems.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang described MediaTek as “one of the world’s great semiconductor companies,” highlighting its expertise in system-on-chip design, connectivity and power efficiency.
MediaTek CEO Rick Tsai said NVIDIA’s investment strengthens a collaboration spanning “cloud AI infrastructure, local AI computing, and autom
